Firmware for the Optorite DD0401

Supposedly there will be a firmware upgrade for the DD0401 to be a true 8x +/- drive.... which seems to be the DD0405

Wondering if anyone has the firmware for the DD0405, and if it can be applied to the DD0401 drive?

Would be sweet to write -R at 8x
