Software for monitoring/filtering packets has been around freely for ages, not to mention that it's not that hard to write it yourself.

What software and what companies are they talking about exactly?

My god!! Those same products are used at offices everywhere to keep people off porn sites. It's cyber-terrorism!! Holding the companies responsible is like hold marble makers responsible when someone flings a marble my way.

Only in the lower 48..I've heard canada, alaska and hawaii are less law suit friendly
