85.9-87FPS in HighQualit HSR=4 regardless of resolution???

Are you telling me that even at 1600x1200xHQ the CPU is still the bottlenck?

I question that...but if it's true that F****ing amazing if that performance can hold for when they fix the glitches.

It doesn't suck at all at this point. The results with FSAA enabled are amazing! It will only get better. Firingsquad really downplayed the results and didn't even include FSAA benchmarks. Typical.

Interesting that in CPU limited benchmarks (800 x 600 or less) the scores are lower. If 3dfx ever do fix all the errors I hope they have a control panel toggle so you can enable/disable HSR. I prefer to drop the gaming resolution to get the highest possible FPS when I play.

The results do look promising, and if 3dfx get HSR to work perfectly (ie no errors in any game) they will be very competitive.

since there are a few hsr levels, one of them being no hsr, i would think that 3dfx would have a little slider that turns things on and off.
