What kinda confused me about the FiringSquad review was the reviewer stated the Logitech dual optical used both sensors to track movement while I read somewhere else that the dual optical uses only one sensor at any given time.
Plus I don't really understand what the reviewer meant by stating Logitech mice are a bit rough on initial movement while the Intellimouse is smooth??? Makes no sense to me, anyone care to enlighten me?

From what I understand about the Logitech Dual Optical, is that it uses one sensor to pick up the movement, with the second sensor picks up movement as well, and it automatically comes the two, and gives you smooth tracking. I read that in some other comparison of the Dual Optical and Explorer 3.0. But I think they got it wrong on the verdict. I kinda like the Dual Optical better than the Explorer, but then again everybody is different.

I wish Logitech would make a dual optical sensor, rf wireless, 800+dpi mouse that came in the old triangle three-button mouseman style (not the 'normal' round one, the triangle one molded to the hand).

I have a stock of 4 of these mice (but they're wired and ball mice) because they're just so kickass for everything, including gaming. The weight and feel of the ball is good, but mostly, the shape of the mouse is perfect -- it's exactly like the natural resting position for my hand. I, of course, overclock it.

But eventually my stock is gonna run out.. and then I'm gonna need a new mouse =(
