I used to be an admin on a now defunct irc network back in 2002-2004. It was fairly popular too, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

Crappy memory ftw.

Here is a kicker... I go to sign on to different channels and it says my address is banned. Wonder what could be causing that?

Yeah, but nobody uses it. You log in, 5 people are logged in, but nobody responds to you.

Your entire domain is probably banned.

I still use MIRC from time-to-time. A great tool.

I was sad to see Packetnews go down a while back though ...

I'm pretty sure girls don't go on irc.

So there was no fooling going on there. :D

Meh. I don't really care for it anymore. It's too much drama on those damn things.

one of the members of my manga scanlation group is a girl. (well, at least sounds like one. we all chatted on vent for awhile.)

I spent the better part of high school bull shitting on IRC and trading betas and files in general. I even wrote a big script for mIRC. It was pretty popular at one point.
