Please share your experiences with firefox update 3.6.6 here.
This update has memory mapping for plugins. Lack of memory mapping has supposedly been the reason firefox crashed so frequently in the past.
It's been six months for me since firefox went from perfect to a reflection of netscape navigator suffering from constant crashes only saved by its ability to remember your windows & tabs along with typed text.
In theory from now on only the plugin will crash and it won't take the browser with it.
Just installed and will report back later in the day.
I Usually suffer from multiple crashes per day so we'll see how this goes.
