Fireworks!

Ended up not going to DC for the fireworks, but the ones in Baltimore's Inner Harbor turned out to be great.

Manual mode, manual focus to hyperfocal distance, bulb exposure, ISO 100, f/11, 1-5 second exposures depending on brightness of fireworks. Switched between 17-50 and 70-210 lenses depending on location of fireworks.

Rather than end up with a dozen different fireworks threads, I think I'm going to steal yours to post some of mine

I got out of a party too late to make it to the cities fireworks, so I cruised around a few neighborhoods till I found drunk people setting off their own. Haven't cropped any of these yet:

I do wish I lived within a decent distance of a large body of water that had fireworks above it' your shots are excellent 996.
