For those of you in Fireworks legal states/regions.

Are you going to be firing any off this year? Whatcha getting?

I like the artillery shells myself, and the tried and true rockets and boomer's.

Anything new this year to look out for?

I have about 2000 bottle rockets and several 3" and 6" mortars. These are leftovers from last year and I have yet to buy any this year.

Heh, doubt I'll spend much on fireworks, unless I have a job.

It sucks that fireworks are illegial and hard to get in NY. I just buy the cheap bottlerockets. I'm not into the stuff that is really expensive and makes a big boom.

I have a few m80's and a buttload of bottle rockets left from last year. Also have a few mortars, a couple bricks of blackcats, and enough sparklers to make quite a few bowel shaking sparkler bombs. (which unfortunately are a felony to detonate here now :()

IMO, fireworks are kinda ghey.

That being said, my friends usually spend hundreds of dollars on them.

As Americans, it's your patriotic duty to set off all sorts of explosives while we Canuckleheads have to watch with our Roman Candles and sparklers. Woo-fvcking-hoo. Go Canada.

Damn anti-explosive laws. I'm crossing the border to MI and firing off a few dozen mortar rounds, personally.

I want to get some of the solid insides of mouse balls and shoot old computers :p

yeah supposedly it is our patriotic duty except for the fact is that in michigan anything that fly in the air like mortars and bottle rockets even are illegal. sorry but michigan sucks.

Whats Legality got to do with it? I do bottle rockets and Roman candles in the back yard, I live in PA which has lots of restrictions. I do some bigger stuff (nothing huge) in a nearby field with some friends. Saturn Missle Batterys are teh win!

I can't wait! It is the only time of year that I get to blow stuff up and no one gripes about it. ;)
