Hello all. Here at work, Windows 95 is the corporate standard, besides Win2K. Anyhow, in order for us to justify buying a 12X firewire burner for the G4/G3 macs some ppl have, our manager wants it to be compatible with his PC. All the firewire cards I see are spec'd as Win98SE and Win2K compliant, not NT or 95. Anyone know if the cards are "backwards" compliant with these OS? Thanks.

Considering USB doesn't even work with 95/NT, and firewire is newer, I really doubt it.

yeah, I don't think there's drivers out there for the firewire card under Win95.

Why are all the computers running Win95 and not Win98SE?

Our company's CIRD, which also serves as computer tech support, is really slow in approving "major" changes in software. For example, Office 97 is the "official" office suite as is Netscape 4.0. We already have Win2K available I think, either that or the next wave of replacement systems will have either 2K or 95. Thanks for the help guys.
