I am trying to connect my Gigabyte GA-8KNXP MB to the 1394 Cable in a Thermaltake Xaser III case. The cable has only 1 power connector labeled VP. However, the MB 1394 connector has pins for 2 power connectors (pins 7 and 8) How do I know which pin on the motherboard to use?
 
I believe I figured it out myself. The lone power connector goes next to the single ground connector, that is, VP next to VG.
