I've got an Epox 8kta3 and a lovely little Dlink firewire card. Now, when I put the dlink into the motherboard and turn it on it gives me a post code that looks like P3. Unfortunately this code is not in the motherboard manual... Does anybody have any ideas as to how to resolve this problem?
Note: yes I tried it in all the pci slots. and yes I tried it in another motherboard, and it works fine.
and Yes the motherboard works fine otherwise, and no I can't even get into the bios to see if there are any conflicts,,, which it should at least give me a valid post code anyways.
So, after apologizing for rambling on, I'm going to ask, Does anybody have any suggestions?

btw, this is the THIRD time I've tried to post this thread,, note DON"T USE OPERA FOR BROWSING ANANDTECH. an otherwise excellent browser, opera seems to have problems with this webiste and cookies..
