Let me see if I can word this right... I bought an iPod from soneone but it came with a Firewire cable and not USB. Obviosuly the player is uselss to me with a firewire cable since I am using Windows. Is there a Firewire-to-USB cable converter? What do I get?

Thanks in advance.

It doesn't matter which operating system you are using, Windows or Mac or Linux.. you can still use firewire as long as you have a 6-pin firewire port. Even if you don't, I recommend that you purchase a firewire card instead of buying the cable. You can charge your iPod using firewire but not on USB. I think firewire has better sustained transfer rates too.
