We have just installed XP sucessfully onto a laptop - Sony VAIO PCG-F190.
Specs: PII 350, 128 mb, 20 gig disk (upgraded along with the new OS).
The installation went without a hiccup, and the only subsystem we have been unable to get drivers sorted for is the Firewire port.
Any help would be greatfully recieved.
Edit: We have tried installing the firewire drivers for Win2000 provided by Sony, but to no avail, they will not install...
If more information would be useful in solving the problem, let me know
