Firewire Pen Drive???

Anyone ever seen one of these? The computers in my school's computer lab only have front firewire ports, not USB. Thought I swear I saw someone using one of the pen drives with these ports. I can't seem to find them on the net anywhere...

The drive was definately on his keychain...is there anything else it might have been? He seemed to be sticking it in whenever he needed to save...

Never seen one (though I have seen some very small 1394 portable drives). Maybe his was USB and he was using some sort of adapter?

I've never seen a USB --> Firewire adapter...in fact other threads have said that such a thing does not exist...

Firewire does not relate to USB. USB relates to Serial - Firewire relates to SCSI. Never seen a 1394 PenDrive or flash memory.

The firewire iPod can work like one, though it's not thumb-sized and doesn't have a built-in male connector...

Good point! But one can buy a potfull of Pen Drives for the cost of one iPod. 🙂
