FIREWIRE PCI

I have bought & sold quite a few generic brands & don't see a difference. The only thing to make absolutely sure of is that the card supports "1394A" not "1394". All of the newer cards I've seen are 1394A. This means that it is the newer mbit standard.
 
I forget the two more recommended chipsets, but one of them is the TI chipset.
This is the one I bought at Newegg KW-582V2 do a search for it. It includes the card, cable and a cd with some software for $22. TI chipset.
