Firewire on Rampage IV Extreme w/ Trifire W/C

I know that this MB doesn't come with a firewire port, but would a low-profile firewire card fit underneath trifired 7970's with water blocks? I have an mbox pro hooked up via firewire and use it as my primary sound driver as well, so I need to make sure I can handle the MB.

Sure it has a ton of pcie slots, so worst case you can put it in the 4th pcie slot you are not using.

Bs it has no firewire though imo, sure is expensive.

I guess my question was more along the lines of whether the bottom pcie slot would be blocked by the 7970 (would definitely be if I were going to use the air coolers).

And yes, BS on lack of firewire on a MB this expensive.

I had a ' WTF ' moment when I realized my P9X79 Pro ( before I unloaded it ) didn't have firewire .. I had just assumed it would, without checking. I noticed several Asus X79 boards did not have it.. The only one I saw it on was ' WS ' ...

I do a lot of video stuff as a hobby, and the lack of firewire was a big disappointment, and a big question why Asus wouldn't include it.

Well I guess I'll find out the answer to this question in a couple weeks when my tax refund comes in and I flesh out my build. I'll try to remember to update this just in case someone has the same question. Thanks for the responses, I"ll take a look at those low-profile cards (I had originally looked at a different card but the one Kenmitch linked seems smaller)
