Firewire not showing up

Hi,

I have the Epox 8RDA+ Rev 1.1 and I have connected the firewire ports according to the specs.. however I can't see the ports on the device manager and neither does it recognise any firewire device when i connect them... searched all around but couldn't find anything.. please help.

I tried to find that MB's manual online at Epox; but they only have the Overclocking manual as a download. I suspect you need to turn it on in the Bios, and/or; there are drivers to be loaded from the Drivers package on the CD-ROM. Hope this helps
