I have a firewire Harddrive by Maxtor, and I was wondering if an external firewire harddrive could be used by 2 pc's at the same time, and if so so, HOW?
 
Hi,

I do not believe it is possible to 'split' a firewire device between two PC's, though this does not stop you from mounting it on your first PC and sharing access to it so your second PC can use it too. (you would need to have a network connection between both of your PC's to be able to do this though.
