I am using this enclosure,
CompGeeks Item, to hook up my hard drives via firewire to my iBook. I need to know what types/brands of hard drive OS X 10.2 Jaguar and WinXP can handle. Also, I need to know whether or not to keep my hard drives as NTFS and use Virtual PC under OS X to read my NTFS drives or to just use Mac's HFS+ file system.
Currently, I am told that these enclosures only support upto 120gb ATA-5 [ATA-100] drives, namely my Western Digital WD1200jb hd, and 200gb ATA-6 [ATA-133] drives, Maxtor drives. If there is any extra information anyone out there knows, please reply to this thread. Thank you.
