firewire cable question

I recently purchased this to extend the firewire motherboard header on my asus a7n8x-e deluxe motherboard. This was the only site i found that carried the extension cables with internal motherboard connectors.

Now, when i tried to install it, i noticed that frontx had made the cable wrong. They just did the mirror of what is listed on the website. I cant send it back now because it has been 3 months since i purchased the cables (finally got around to doing this). Repinning isnt that hard so that is what i chose to do.

Now, i finished one cable and noticed that the asus firewire cable had 8 wires and this front x only has 7. It is a gnd wire that is missing(on the website, it is the one directly under the blue tpa+ wire). Now, shouldnt this be okay since it has the s-gnd and another gnd or does it have to have all 3 grounds that the asus manual has?

To be more clear, if you look at the front x website, that is what that cable looks like. The asus manual has an extra ground wire under the blue tpa+.
