Firewall ( smooth wall) to connect Lan

Hi Colleagues,

Cannot get my Smoothwall ( firewall) working with Modem and server and PCs on my LAN.

I can access the Net and Lan OK with out the firewall connected. But I want to add the Firewall ( smooth wall).

I welcome any guide line or advice
