Firewall Question

I tried to d/l Kerio and Sygate, Kerio worked but it worked too well and i kept blocking my modem drivers from loading no matter how many times I tried to fixed it. So i finally gave up and installed Sygate, installed, restarted but it didnt start. Tried from two different mirrors, same thing.

Soooo...... I download zonealarm and it worked fine..

Now, my question is, how good is ZA? should i try to get Sygate or Kerio working for my system if its much better than ZA?

depends...IF you are being a NAT router then you don't need to worry. Othereise I'd say ZA, Sygate or Kerio would do. Only differences are speed and options.
