I am a complete newbie when it comes to firewall configuration. I am using the nVidia firewall that came with my LAN Party motherboard. I have it set to the recommended medium setting. Prior to this, I had used ZoneAlarm on aa different PC.
My concern is, how can I tell it is working properly? I was curious because with ZA there was always an extensive log of blockages. With the nVidia, there aren't nearly as many. My fear is the firewall is allowing my PC to be accessed. The computer has not exhibited any strange behavior, but I can't help wondering if it is protecting as it should. I'd be delighted to look it up in a manual for the firewall, but it is well documented here there is no such thing.
Thanks in advance,
Brandt
