Firewall issue what ports do I open to surf Zone Alarm pro

I upgraded zone alarm last night on my main pc and I can't surf the web on my laptop now . I can get on aim with no problems on the same computer. What do I need to open to be able to surf on my laptop ? Thanks

Port 80 is HTTP. Go to Program Control and go through the tabs until you see a list of programs, then give IE (edit: or whatever browser) the go-ahead there.

Re-reading what you wrote before:

1) you have a laptop and a desktop

2) you upgraded ZA to ZA Pro, on the desktop

3) now the laptop cannot reach the Internet

😕

Is the desktop doing Internet Connection Sharing to split its connection between itself and the lappie, or am I missing something? If they both are on a typical home router, then the only thing ZoneAlarm Pro will do is keep the laptop out of the desktop, not keep the laptop from reaching the modem that's on the router's WAN port.

Clarifications pleeze 🙂
