Firewall? Dunno...=/

Anyways guys, if some of you dudes game...there is a program called xfire...well after i set up my wireless network on my custom computer i installed everything on the computer then i installed xfire and i went to load it up and log in and it goes through all the way but it gets stuck on Checking Login...and it times out. Also on AIM i cant direct connect to anyone...anyone have a clue as to what may be the problem? Oh, i also turned the windows firewall off....so that means there is no firewall for it when i did this...i have it up now but i turn it off when i DO try to mess with it

Do you connect to the internet through a router? Because you most likely need to open the necessary ports. But this just a guess since I don't know what xfire is - you may want to post a link to their site for those of us too lazy to google it.

i got everything working...its strange, anyhow i reinstalled it and it worked fine...got a NEWER version of AIM because i had AIM 4.7..tried to install deadaim4.5 and well it was the issue i had...was WAY out of date...everything is up and running smooth!
