What would you recommend for a great firewall/wireless router solution. One of my clients has RoadRunner internet service and wants to make sure he doesn't get hacked. He is extremely private and even wants all of his files encrypted on his computer. He wants all of his internet traffic basically spoofed and/or proxied. Most importantly, he doesn't want someone hacking into his computer or laptop (wirelessly) so he wants a high-end firewall router.

Keep in mind that what you recommend shouldn't take hours upon hours upon hours to configure and setup. Anyway, what would you recommend?

I have a Good Firewall does it secure my Wireless? - http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#secure

From the weakest to the Strongest..
No Security
MAC
WEP
WPA-PSK
WPA-AES
WPA2
-------------------------------------------
Wireless Security - <http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html

WEP, WPA, and the Future - <http://www.ezlan.net/wpa_wep.html

The security must be set according to lowest capable Wireless component.
I.e. even most of you Wireless are capable to do WPA2, but one device is only capable to do WEP, the whole system must be configured to WEP.

As for Internet Security.

Freeware Security suit for Internet Connection Protection.

Possibly a Sonic wall you can get some pretty powerful ones depending on how much you spend and what services/add ons you want.

Tell you client that it may take hours to configure though if he wants that much privacy it may take a while to program depending on what he want to be able to do. Sonic walls are pretty easy to use if you know some basics though.

I use a sonic wall.
