yesterday i was unable to post anything to websites (so i couldn't shop online or post on sites like this)
turns out that they switched the firewall here at school to a new one...
Notes: New Firewall is sending TCP reset for any HTTP POST Method request. This will mean most web forms that allow user to submit inputs will failed.
ITS Engineers are working with Cisco Systems Technical Support to resolve the problem.
We have identified the problem to be a bug in the firewall product. The vendor is recognized this problem as the most recently discovered bug in the product.
ITS is going to roll back the changes we made today on the next maintenance window.

my question is how can a firewall actually mess something like that up...
