Firetune vs. Fasterfox

fasterfox is easier to use and it really works. i didnt see much improvement while using firetune.

fasterfox also looks nicer to me IMO.

Fasterfox is most likely NOT a good thing to use if you're in a restricted network. I'm on a University network, and I'm allowed only 1.5GB transfer each for uploads and downloads, per week. Fasterfox's preloading of links would eat up that bandwidth FAST.

I'd just somehow like a faster load time, but then, I guess the only way of really doing that would be to go through each program file and clean up and optimize the coding. Everyone says "Well IE loads so darn fast" - that's because most of it's already loaded when the system is booting up.

What exactly are RFC specs?

It stands for Request For Comment. They are documents that set forth rules and procedures. Basically they are a bunch of standards that are adopted by programs.
