does anyone know where i can buy this card, and if there are any sites that have reviews of this card.
it seems like a really good deal for gamers/ profssional 3d app user like me, plus it also has hydra vision, something the quadro line doesnt have. this is the perfect card for me, assuming that it has decent driver.
 
Well driver quality is hardly something you need worry about, ATi has employed the old FireGL driver team to work on the 8700/8800... and the FireGL driver team is IMHO the best in the business.
I don't know of any sites that have reviewed it yet, and I wouldnt be holding my breath for many reviews either.... most sites out there don't cover the high end 3D rendering market that the FireGL 8700 is aimed at.
You may also want to consider the FireGL 8800, which is clocked a bit higher, has 128MB RAM, and apparently has a few more cnnectivity options.

As for purchasing it, I don't think either board is actually available for purchase yet though they should be appearing soon.
Neither board is yet available for purchase from ATI's online store either.
