I quit using firefox about a year back because it suddenly started taking a very long time to load. Thought I might give it another try today and discovered that it doesn't render properly. The screen fonts look like they are from an inkjet that's running out of ink. Any ideas of what might cause that?

That helped, but it's still not right.

Try this:
type about:config in the address bar
set gfx.content.azure.enabled to false

I've had good luck with the anti-aliasing addon

I will uninstall ver. 20.0.1 and will install ver. 19 without option to any updates...

after 19th...Firefox started giving me so much trouble....
