Firefox Won't Update...

For some reason I cannot update Firefox, either manually or when it prompts me to. The download bar goes nowhere. I left it running while I slept and still no dice.

Any fix, or should I just wipe it and reinstall? If a W&R, how do I copy my bookmarks to the new install?

Have you tried downloading and running the latest installer yourself?

AFAIK that's all the built-in updater does to upgrade your installation.

A great utility for backing up Firefox and T-bird.
You can download the latest version of Firefox and run the install-your bookmarks and other setting should stay the same. Run the backup, just in case.
