hiya
made the switch from 0.93 to 1.0.
unfortunately, when i now open a new tab it remains blank rather than going to my homepage like it used to. How can i correct this?

v1.0 doesnt like my fave themes either and unless you like cats' paws the choice seems limited!

it doesnt even allow useful little ditties like the tab-x [little x in the corner of each tab to close it] nor the tabbrowser extensions...

okay i got the last couple of things sorted [it wouldnt update as FF had blocked permission to allow downloads from that site - nice feature once you know about it!]

still find the range of themes very limited though and the most annoying thing is that bloody "untitled" new tabs

I'm not sure about getting the home page when you create a new tab, but if you middle click the home button, it will open in a new tab.

When installing a new version of Firefox first I uninstall the old version. Then I delete C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

Then install the new version and any extensions. Also export and import your bookmarks.

When a new version of Firefox comes out, it takes a little while for all the developers to update their extensions and themes for compatibility with the new version. Give it a week or two, and everything should be updated and working again.

no matter i sorted it.
i was running something called tabbrowser extensions [much smaller than the "daddy" tabbrowser prefs. it wouldnt let me run it cos it wasnt compatible with ver 1.0 but wouldnt update it either.
in the end i found cos it only allows permissions to install extensions if you give permission to the site hosting them so i had to do that 1 by 1 and now back to my old setup

there is an option in tabbrow-ext to run the homepage on each new tab and i like having the little x in the corner of each too
