Firefox uses 44% CPU usage on a E6300??

Do i have a virus or something? Right when i initially open fire fox my CPU usage jumps from 3% to 44 percent. Is this normal? I'm using Windows Task Manager to determine this.

I checked, and my CPU usage spikes when Firefox opens, but then immediately drops back down.
