was a little weird for a moment, but the same "right click, slight move, click" goes back. so, no real change. i guess.

What kind of retardation is that? That's a terrible interface. I hope they don't do this crap to the Linux version. I thought 29 was terrible (thankfully only in Windows) but this just raises the bar of retardation that much higher.

I hate how the trend seems to be everything touch/phone/tablet based now, and PCs are being left behind. I don't care what people say, I want a real computer to do real work with a keyboard and mouse. It's unchanged for a reason, because it works!

Firefox has sucked balls for a while now
I gave up on it a year ago. But I still run it with No Script locked down tight. It allows me to read my local paper without having to buy an online subscription.

Yeah, I'm back to Opera because Firefox and Chromium updates have gotten annoying. I wish they wouldn't mess with the UI without an easy, obvious way to roll back those UI changes.

Hmm I always forget about Opera and it looks like they have a Linux version. I might do that. I think it might be time for me to dump Firefox too. Sick of their crap.

I use Firefox out of laziness (all my bookmarks) but I have to keep Flash disabled or it crashes the AMD display driver several times a day.

Still using Firefox on all systems, including Android. Some of their recent changes are annoying, and I don't like their design philosophy, but I'll keep using it as long as I can make it the browser I want. It stands alone in that regard. Opera used to be very customizable, but I don't think the new Chrom...er...Webkit builds are. It's also proprietary.

Ugh. Not another one.

Quick, what do any of these things do?

I remember this "written language" sort of thing that people used to use to communicate. Is that being phased out now?
At least they still have the text-based box available.

Some programs have done away with the text completely for a few features. It's especially fun when an icon can be reused for entirely different purposes. Want to insert a new object into an assembly? Go right ahead. But guess what, that same icon is also used in another section as a button used to change a component's coordinate system.
Did they run out of space for additional icons?

Thank you!, our local paper went the same route, $10/month for online access, I just installed No Script and it works like a charm!..

I don't know... I use Firefox only as a support browser (Chrome works best on my machines, by far) but I think that this change can improve Firefox's outdated interface and give it a bit of fresh air.

Changes are always hard, but they are often for the better. Like in this case. At least according to me. :D

Firefox sucks.

Go install Firefox 29, and set the options to NEVER update. Now, watch it magically update to Firefox 30. It's total bullshit. The people who make the browser will NOT address this at all, it's been asked on their forums over and over, they say to set a certain option, blah blah, and when users report it has no affect, they are basically asked "Why don't you want to upgrade?".

I'm using FF 24 ESR and will until it starts magically updating itself too.
