firefox troubles

hey, guys when i started up firefox today, all my bookamrks were gone, the theme was gone(although i fixed that easily enough) it wasnt the default browser, the messages such as you are exiting an secure area poped up again, and the screen shakes when some stuff is being done,it's almost like i uninstalled firefox and reinstalled a bugy version of it, but i havent touched a thing. i dont really care abous most of it, but i need my bookmarks back! help!
 
Screenshake issues aren't uncommon, even w/o window blinds.

Sometimes when I startup ff and the profile box comes up, its because there is already another firefox.exe running that crashed but is still in the task manager. Ending process, and then restarting firefox fixes it.
