Firefox/Thunderbird screen glitch

I've seen a couple of issues with firefox and widescreen monitors. On my secondary widescreen, the menu systems just won't stay displayed. On another system with a 23 inch widescreen not only does it have that issue but FF will also have incorrectly drawn lines through things every now and then. I've also seen issues similar issues with thunderbird.

I've just put together the 2 systems with identical specs except for the monitors and I've tried to just disable all the addons. I'm running windows 7 64 bit.

Any ideas?

Did you try IE.to see if it's doing the same thing.Myself i find that 7 is very touchy with firefox.

Yes....odd thing is that they 2 computers are exactly the same except the monitors and one has serious issues while other is just fine.

Both have most updated drivers too.

Well if IE is working fine on the other one.but not fire fox. could be error on disk. have you try a CHKDSK on it

tried chkdsk...no issues
