When i middle click a link, it doesn't open in a new tab.
Instead, it brings any other program i am running to the foreground.
I've even tried downloading the extensions for tabbed browsing, but it still won't work.
Is this a weird setting in Windows or what is going wrong?

I think it is my mouse settings, but i have tried changing the middle button setting, but still no go.
My mouse is the wireless optical mouse 2.0 with the sideways scroll, if it makes any difference.
Someone here must have the same one.

I have only got the "wheel click" to work with Logitech "mice".

You can right click, open in new tab.

Well, the right click & open in new tab is how i do it too...i just thought middle clicking would be even faster, & mroe convenient.

i set both ms and logitech mice i have to use scroll wheel button as "middle button" instead of universal scroll.. which is a rather useless thing anwaysy. it works fine. scroll is seperate from the push in feature.

Well, i will have to see what it's set as, but neither my old or new MS mouse will work, yet here at work, the Logitech works like a charm
