Firefox setting to prevent web page redirection? Turn it off?

I had to disable this to get certain websites to work. So it seems there isn't enough difference between normal websites and malicious ones to easily use this feature. Should I turn it back on for all but the few websites it stops from working properly? I don;t want to since it is quite annoying for some very common websites, like Google images.

This is FF 3.6.8 on Linux Mint 9.
