Firefox: Restore Download Popup Window

For those of you frustrated by Firefox as it "streamlines" and buries features behind more clicks, etc... here's a way to restore the old Firefox download behavior that automatically opens up a small "download window" so you can easily navigate to your downloaded file.

type --> about:config into the address bar of the browser and hit the enter key afterwards.

First time users need to confirm that they will be cautious here before they see the editing window.

Filter for the term browser.download.useToolkitUI and double-click it to set it to "TRUE"

Here's the most important question: Does that window keep the firefox process running even if all the main windows are closed like the old one did?

I'm *so* tired of cancelling my downloads with no warning because i'm done reading some forum and close out the firefox window.
