Firefox, Request Policy leaving whitelist after removed

I decided to remove Request policy from my browser and try a different version. Restarted after the removal. Went to add the other version and it seems the white list was still somehow in my browser. How can I completely purge Request Policy from my browser to start new?

In about:config search for extensions.requestpolicy, and delete anything related.

You might want to look in your FF profile folder for some kind of file associated to that addon. It could be an XML file or something. Maybe even a JSON where settings were stored.

Hmm. I found the extensions but there is no option to delete anything. Am I missing something? I've highlighted and right clicked, pressed the "delete" button on the keyboard, and nothing.

Where would I find it at? It's not on the C drive? That wouldn't make any sense :hmm:

Well, that's a good question. I'm not in front of a desktop right now, but if you can't delete entries(I thought you could), maybe you can modify them to make them ineffective.

Regarding the profile... I don't remember what it's called in Windows, but you'll want to show hidden files, then look under document settings for your user name, goto the mozilla folder, then find the profile folder which will have a gibberish name. Sorry I can't be more helpful. I can find it myself, but don't remember what everything's called by memory.

Looked at it today. Right clicking the "extensions.requestpolicy" variables, and picking Reset should eliminate their action, but leave the entries in place.
