I followed one of the Firefox speed increase changes in the about:config from an old forum.

Now FF isn't displaying pages correctly.

I have tried to add/remove then reinstall, but all the changes within the about:cinfig are set the same.

Is there a way to create a back-up of my bookmark & fav's then completely remove FF, then a fresh install (with the origianl settings returned) and a re-import of the bookmarks/fav's

Export your bookmarks. You can do this in the manage bookmarks screen. Then uninstall FF. After that, delete the C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ directory. Reinstall and import bookmarks.

To backup your bookmarks go to:
Bookmarks menu > Manage Bookmarks > File menu > Export

After you uninstall you may want to make sure this folder is gone, just in case:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\
