Firefox - random changing of home page ..

Wanted to see if any other Firefox users have experienced this. I set my home page to 'Google News'. It will hold that way for a long time - then it will change to the Firefox Google search page. It always changes to that web address.

In the past I have had a malware problem. It would change my home page, along with disrupting some other programs. Well, I found and deleted all I could - but now the symptom shows back up - but just in the home page change.

I am wondering if this is just the Firefox program itself, since nothing else seems affected. Any ideas?

I don't think it's a malware problem because the default homepage is Firefox Google.

Maybe your profile was somehow messed up and Firefox resets back to the default settings?
