Firefox problem...

I've been getting a Firefox error for about two months now and it used to not bother me but its caught up to me and started to piss me off so I'm wondering how to fix it.

I tried an uninstall/reinstall and have the newest update and it still hasn't fixed anything.

What happens is when I open Firefox or click a link in AIM or something that opens a new Firefox window, I get a prompt that says Unresponsive script that I hvae to click stop script or continue. I click continue and it opens the page, but it wastes 35-45 seconds each time and pisses me off.

When reinstalling, did you wipe out your profile as well? Messed up extensions can do this pretty easily.
