Firefox "Problem loading page"

Ever since I upgraded to firefox 1.5 (was using 1.07) it redirects me to "Problem loading page" if the server does not respond almost immediately.

This annoys me to no end, as i have to press "try again" a couple of times before it loads, whereas before it would load by itself after a while.

Does anyone know how to disable this "feature" or increase the timeout?

I don't know of any timeout changes between 1.0 and 1.5. Are you sure it's not a different kind of problem? Disabling the error pages is easy (about:config, set browser.xul_error_pages.enabled to false), but it's unrelated to faster timeouts.
