I have almost completely switched from IE to FF and yet to install any plug-ins for FF. I want to know if it is safe to install the plug-ins or if I am better off without them. On the front page of AT they have some advertisements that require the shockwave-flash plug-in. Also are some plug-ins ok and some not.
Thanx, any help appreciated.

I am currently using Firefox instead of IE. Most of the plugins are pretty safe, but some of them are pretty useless IMO. However, while using these plugins I have never encountered any problems/malware/spyware. The flash and shockwave plugin is a neccesity. :)

Btw, this is my first post.

I haven't had any problems with plug-ins.

Remember don't confuse extensions with Plug-ins, they are 2 different things. Most extensions are fine, too. Just don't go installing a dozen random ones and expect it to work 100%.
