Firefox not loading all images?

Not exactly sure when this started happening, but on some websites Firefox (1.5) simply won't load some of the images. For example, whenever I look at movie reviews on RottenTomatoes.com, it will show either the tomato icons or the splat icons, but not both. It's like it is prematurely ending the loading of the page.

Anybody know why this might be? I tried clearing cache and checking my settings/extensions (adblock, etc) but nothing has helped.

No idea, but you should try using Opera. It is a lot faster than Firefox and uses less memory. It is now free too. You can search and see what other users have said about it too. I defintely feel it is one of the best browsers out. I switched because I was tired of Firefox screwing up and losing all of my bookmarks among other things.

I've tried Opera and, indeed, it is very nice. However, I like Firefox better.

Try disabling FasterFox or FireTune, and limit your max connections per server to 1 and see if that helps anything. Disable pipelining also.

Very odd.

I don't use Fasterfox or Firetune...

But I did disable pipelining and closed firefox. Then reopened and the pics works again. Then I turned pipelining back on and it's still fine.

Looks like something was stuck on stupid. *shrug*

Thanks a lot for the help guys. 🙂

Holy ish...whatever it fixed by turning that off then on again has dramatically improved my browsing. It's eye opening. Thanks a million!
