Firefox no longer secure?

Recently I noticed that all the secure site that usually go to are no longer secure under Firefox.
Like my bank (the lock icon has red mark over it).
I'm using the latest version of firefox and runing windows Vista.
Even some sites that I'm buying stuff from is doing the same thing.
I ended up using IE instead.
Everything is up to date including Vista.
Does anybody know why?
 
My Firefox & XP seems fine, I have it so locked down with add-ons, I often must use IE at some safe sites. (active x I guess)
