Old news. The Mozilla Foundation has been trying _for years_ to get Gecko to work well on mobile platforms, and it's just never been all that successful. Heck, the fact that this only works on the N900 at release is something of a step back from previous efforts...

Last spring I had played with an Alpha version of Mozilla Fennec on Windows Mobile. It was quite rough around the edges. (Fennec was/is(?) the codename of Firefox Mobile)

The day I can use Firefox Mobile on an Android phone will be awesome.

Been using Dolphin on my Droid for the tabs and the multi-touch capabilities. Didn't like Opera Mini 4.2. Can't wait to see how Fennec stacks up.

Been using dolphin for a bit and like it. Seems to be a nice alternative to the default.

Has Dolphin improved a bit?

I tried it in late November iirc, and it just felt like a mess. I couldn't even get to comparing what the actual browsing experience was because it was just terribly presented. UI was trash and it felt like the browsing was just touchy/finicky, zooming to where I wanted and staying there was trouble.

Pinch gestures are nice and all, but hardly anything to get worked up about; it requires both hands be occupied with the device. :p

What I demand more than a multi-touch capable browser, is a multi-touch capable keyboard.
Why, oh why, are there no multi-touch keyboard apps released as of yet? Better Keyboard is insanely popular, and doesn't appear they've even made an effort to incorporate multi-touch for devices that support it.
Android, the OS, supports it by default anyhow, it's just apps incorporating the use (and the default Google experience does not include the feature in the built in apps, for a reason only Google will say... as that appears to only be the case here in the US).

i was really hoping it was for at least winmo phones in general, as i really hate IE and opera 9 is getting annoying. i also dont like how skyfire operates, and the new opera 10 kind of sucked balls too. i was disappointed when i saw it only worked on one phone.
