Firefox message

I keep on getting the following message:

Firefox could not install the search plugin from"file:///C:/
Documents%20and%20Settings?Compaq Owner?Application
%and20Data/Mozilla/Firefox/wgk1tlm3.default/extensions/toolbar@ask.com/searchplug because an
engine with the same name already exists.

This is all greek to me, but I need to know, what does it mean?
what do I need to do to get rid of the message.

Thanks for your help!!
