Firefox: Make Proxy Settings Permanent?

flexy

Ever since my ISP got bought up by another company my routing to some destinations is totally f****d and i can reach certain sites only via proxy.

Now, the problem is that Firefox loses my Proxy settings each time i start it.

I need a permanent way so my proxy settings are preserved and i dont need to re-enter IPs and all that stuff.

thanks

If I understood you correctly you use a public proxy?

Then what about using FoxyProxy or another addon to just use the proxies on specific sites?

Sounds generally better than using a proxy for everything even if you don't need it.. after all usually those public proxies aren't the fastest ones.. and it preserves your settings.

What is the problem with your ISP exactly? Why not change your Windows DNS settings to use OpenDNS or Google DNS?
